General Requirement Agreements

Required Funding Statement:

Agencies and organizations that receive grant funding through the Partnership for Children of Cumberland County must include a funding statement on all outreach materials, websites, social media posts, etc., for the funded program. For Smart Start-funded programs, one of these statements is acceptable:


"This work is supported by the Partnership for Children of Cumberland County through North Carolina's Smart Start initiative."

"Funding for [insert program name] is provided by the Partnership for Children of Cumberland County through North Carolina's Smart Start initiative."


Other statements will be approved on a case-by-case basis. You can obtain approval by emailing our Community Engagement team at events@ccpfc.org.

Logo use is optional. However, if your funded program chooses to include the Partnership for Children's logo, please consult our Branding Guide at ccpfc.org/brand-identity for proper usage guidelines. DSPs may use PFC logos but must follow PFC Branding guidelines and logo options available at ccpfc.org/dsp.

The following items must be submitted during the specified quarters:

Email Requirements (as applicable):

  • Job Descriptions and/or Resumes for ALL Smart Start Funded positions if different from prior fiscal year
  • Diplomas or Certificate of Completion for current fiscal year
  • Professional Development Form for continuing education
  • Program eligibility criteria, if applicable
  • Program rules, regulations, policies, and procedures if changed during FY
  • "Blank" validated instruments (AAPI, Environmental Rating Scales)
  • At least two (2) completed instruments unless otherwise communicated
  • "Blank" surveys and at least two (2) completed surveys
  • Advertising materials, website links, including those with logos
  • Required spreadsheets/reporting documentation
  • Media Releases- as new releases are signed each quarter
  • Narratives/Special Stories
